Great Indian philosopher Swami Vivekananda envisioned such an education system by which “character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.” In this sense, education plays the biggest role in forming the character of a society; its quality defines how harmonious its youth is – a perfect balance of mind, body and heart. So the quality of education is to be not only regularly and effectively monitored but continually enhanced to enable its product to acquire high knowledge and skills and make them both ‘valuable’ and ‘valued’ members of society.
